Eunice Juanita Johnston Seeman, 94, of Lake Preston, died Sunday, June 28, 2009.

Her funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Lake Preston Lutheran Church with the Rev. Wanda McNeill officiating.

Burial will be in Broad-land Ceme-tery. 

Visitation will be one hour before the service.

Arrangements are with the Johnson-Henry Funeral Chapel of Lake Preston. 

Eunice Juanita Johnston was born Nov. 6, 1914, to Roy and Margaret (Houck) Johnston at Broadland. She graduated from Huron High School and attended Notre Dame College in Mitchell, where she received a teaching certificate. She married Vincent Seeman Dec. 21, 1946.

She taught country school in Beadle and Kingsbury counties and taught kindergarten and first grade at Lake Preston, retiring in 1978. 

She is survived by two sons, Dennis (Dorothy) and Dale (Dorothy); a daughter, Nikki Deathe; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Izetta and Grace; a daughter, Kandace (Vince); and a life-long friend, Marvelle.
