Dana Hanson, 51, of Clarksville, Ark., and formerly of Cavour and Huron, died Monday, July 20, 2009, as a result of a car accident at Clarksville.

Dana Hanson was born Dec. 20, 1957, to Norwood and Loree Hanson at Redfield.

Her funeral was July 25 at Congregational Church at Columbia with burial in Lakeview Cemetery.

She is survived by a son, Andrew Johnson of Clarksville; five brothers, Gaylord (Jacki) of Rexburg, Idaho, Mark of Omaha, Rex of Casper, Wyo., Randall (Verna) of Pinedale, Wyo., and Kim (Char) of Omaha; five sisters, Lovell Dahl of Pelican Rapids, Minn., Linda Ferris of Rosemount, Minn., Penny (Dave) DeJean of Huron, Debra (Chuck) Warfield of Nampa, Idaho, and Mara Mager of Huron; and a close friend, Ed Green.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Tab; and a sister, Loree Ann.

Memorials may be made to the Beadle County Humane Society.
