Southeast Tech graduation
SIOUX FALLS — Southeast Technical College held graduation ceremonies May 3 for its 2024 graduates.

Among those earning degrees are Huron students Mu Lar with a Diploma in Software Support Specialist and Eduardo Trujillo-Cordova with an Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration.

Heartland student places at State SkillsUSA Competition
 WATERTOWN — Students from the Lake Area Technical College SkillsUSA Chapter recently competed in the South Dakota State Leadership and Skills Conference competition hosted by Mitchell Technical College. During the competition, students worked against the clock and each other in various trade and leadership skills.

Among those who competed and placed in the competition was Hudson Murphy of Huron, who finished second in Diesel Equipment Tech.

MSUM plans graduation May 10
MOORHEAD, Minn. — Minnesota State University Moorhead will award degrees to more than 750 students during its spring commencement program Friday, May 1o, in the university’s Nemzek Fieldhouse. This includes 218 graduate students.

Among those to receive degrees is Socrate Quinto of Huron, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science.
