HACA features Jim Witter in concert tonight

Posted

HURON — The Huron Area Concert Association will host Jim Witter performing the hits of Elton John for its final concert of the season tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the Huron High School auditorium.

Admission is by season membership and tickets will also be available at the door.

Witter has been performing since the age of 4 in his hometown of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

From performing in local piano bars to writing and recording his own music to signing record deals, he was noticed for his incredible talent.

Witter has performed music of such great artists as Simon & Garfunkel, Billy Joel and the Beatles, along with shows featuring music of the 1960s, ‘70s and ‘80s.

Now in his 22nd year of touring these nostalgic shows, Witter sometimes will even include his grown children in his performances.

His show will include veteran musicians on bass guitar and drums. His sincere and warm rapport with the audience makes each concert goer feel as though they are part of a truly communal performance experience.

This show promises to bring back memories of Elton John’s illustrious career of creating mega-hits with song writing partner Bernie Taupin.

Concessions will be available at intermission to benefit Huron Musicale as they award music scholarships to aspiring students.
