HRMC announces 2024 Cutest Baby contest winners

Posted

HURON — A total of 51 adorable little faces were entered into the sixteenth annual Cutest Baby Contest, hosted by Huron Regional Medical Center (HRMC).

Entries were submitted in March with live online voting occurring in April, when community members, family and friends were invited to vote daily for their favorite.

Receiving the most votes to earn the “2024 Cutest Baby” title was Lennon, daughter of Cole and Ashton Peterson. Lennon was born on August 17, enjoys playing with baby dolls and is very social, per her parents. “She is just happy, wild and loves to talk,” shared Lennon’s mother.

The couple was encouraged to enter Lennon in the Cutest Baby Contest by Cole’s mother, and both sets of grandparents helped to encourage friends and other family to vote.

Cole is account manager for Daktronics and Ashton is a personal banker at Wells Fargo. The family settled in Huron this past summer, just before Lennon was born. Both Cole and Ashton are happy to be part of the Huron community, close to both of their families.

As the winner, Lennon received the grand prize package which includes a Hatch Baby Sleep Machine, $75 in Huron Bucks, a gift basket of baby essentials, a stuffed toy from the HRMC Auxiliary Gift Shop, a commemorative blanket, and a feature photo on HRMC Cutest Baby advertising and promotional materials.

Receiving the next highest number of votes in the contest was Kale, son of Zach and Dazee Gertz. As Cutest Baby runner-up winner, Kale received $75 in Huron Bucks.

HRMC congratulates the winners and thanks everyone who participated in the 2024 Cutest Baby Contest. To learn more about the HRMC Birthing Center, visit huronregional.org/birthingcenter.
