Shown is the Boy Scout Troop 151 scarecrow titled “Scoutmaster’s Revenge Part III.” Their scarecrow had several moving parts and was the People’s Choice Award winner as well as third place winner for the humorous grade 6 through 12 category. Next, the Western Area Power Association received a traveling trophy for winning first place in the commercial/organization category at the Great Scarecrow Festival. Their entry, which appeared to be a flying holstein cow, delighted the crowd with the ability to move its head, wings and tail. Next, shown are members of the Girl Scouts Junior Troop 50027 with Lioness Leanne Gutormson as they receive their $100 cash prize. Shown in the next photo is their traditional scarecrow entry “A-Maize-ing 100th Birthday,” a corn stalk maze filled with scarecrows. They also received recognition for third place People’s Choice.
