Crash at Super X

A 1998 Chevrolet Astro van driven by Walter Chavez-Lopez, 24, of Huron crashed into the front of the Super X convenience store at 3:39 a.m. Tuesday, causing an estimated $10,000 damage to the building and $2,000 damage to the vehicle. According to the police report, Chavez-Lopez had no driver’s license or insurance.

Next, crews from Ken’s Glass and Mirror (Dave Hansen, left and Travis Barber) work to repair a window in the storefront of Super X, which is located at Ninth Street and Dakota Avenue is southwest Huron.
