HURON – Beadle County Republicans are postponing next week’s Lincoln Day dinner because inclement weather delayed Huron’s combined city/school election until April 16, the original date for the Lincoln Day dinner.
GOP Chairman Josh Haeder said the decision was made to delay the dinner so that everyone is able to attend.
He has consulted with the campaign team of former governor and U.S. Senate candidate Mike Rounds, the featured speaker, on a new date for the event and an announcement will be made when a date is selected.
Also, the planned chamber mixer Tuesday at Wyshbone Market, 325 Market St. W., has been postponed until Thursday, April 18.For the complete article see the 04-10-2013 issue.
