HURON — Some residential water service lines in Huron have been freezing between the house and the city’s water main because frost in the ground is much deeper than normal.
Although the snow cover and moderating temperatures will help, City Engineer Mike Wever is recommending that, as a precaution, residents should run some water when they can.
He said people should run one faucet for a minute in the morning, at noon, in the evening and before they go to bed and if they get up during the night.For the complete article see the 02-15-2014 issue.
