The Huron Public Library continues to clean up after the water damage it experienced with Saturday’s heavy rainfall. Because of this, the library will remain closed until Wednesday. All materials due through Wednesday can be turned in without fines after the library reopens. Library director Shirley Apley said the library suffered minimal damage, and five books were lost. They’re making efforts to save another 20 books. The roof remains scheduled to be replaced in August.
