Robert A. Fratzke, 93, of Miller, died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at the Good Samaritan Society in Miller.
His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church in Miller with the Rev. Brian Jones officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Miller.

Robert A. Fratzke was born Dec. 17, 1918, at De Grey to Charles and Myrtle (Jones) Fratzke. During the depression years he worked on projects with the Civilian Conservation Corp. He joined the Army in November 1941.
On Feb. 12, 1944, he married Alice Hancock, and they had three children. His wife died at the age of 44 due to cancer.
He married Ruth Morrison in 1971. He was involved in farming, ranching, logging and truck driving. He moved to Miller in 1966. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; his three children: Carl (Glenis) Fratzke, Merle (Bobbi) Fratzke and Mary (Graham) Lawrie; three stepchildren, David, Sylvia and Duane; and numerous grandchildren, great- and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Alice; his parents-in-law; nine brothers and sisters, Bill, Vern, Ken, Elmer, Melvin, Ruth, Blanche, Mildred and Garnet; and six brothers- and sisters-in-law, Warren, Lowell, Howard, Dorothy, Marian and Ethel.For the complete article see the 10-07-2012 issue.
