ST. LAWRENCE — Allen Kellogg, 75, of St. Lawrence, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, at home.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Lawrence Community Church. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service at the church. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
Allen Eugene Kellogg was born Feb. 12, 1937, at Burke to Francis and Mildred (Osnes) Kellogg. He graduated from Burke High School.
He married JoAnn McElroy April 21, 1956. They attended Briercrest Bible Institute in Saskatchewan, Canada. They taught Bible schools and worked at Victory Center Bible Camp in the Black Hills and at Fort Pierre. He taught grade school and they went to Alaska for a year as house parents working for Lazy Mountain Children Home. They purchased a farm in 1970. In 2006 they went on a missionary trip to Guatemala. He was a member of St. Lawrence Community Church and served on the boards of Victory Center Bible Camp, Farm Credit Services of America and Sunshine Bible Academy.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Cindy (Wayne) Goodrich of Andover, Minn.; a son, Kevin (Sandy) of St. Lawrence; a sister, Beverly (Jerry) Mackey of Blaine, Minn.; a brother, Donald (Carol) of Dallas; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ernest.
