Joyette L. Young, 51, of Sioux City, Iowa

SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Joyette L. Young, 51, died Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at home.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Arrangements are with Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel in Sioux City.

Joyette L. Young was born to Robert and Marlene (Ruffenach) Young May 24, 1961, at Minneapolis. She was raised in the Minneapolis area and attended Iroquois High School.

She had lived in Sioux City for the past 30 years. She collected porcelain dolls, Hot Wheels, and snow globes. She enjoyed listening to her extensive music collection.

She is survived by her parents of Huron; five children, Shawn, Shannon, Erik, Sean and Michael; three brothers, Jerry (Fay) of Woonsocket, Jason of New Hope, Minn., and Robert Jr. of Minneapolis; and three sisters, Leslee Tuffel of Denver, Shelly Holmes of Minneapolis and Jennifer Zieres of Wolsey. 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and a sister, Carrie.
