MOUNT VERNON, Wash. — Robert E Hart, 82, of Mount Vernon, Wash., and formerly of Hitchcock and Huron, died Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon.
His memorial service was Friday at Kern’s Funeral Home in Mount Vernon. Burial will be at Hawthorne Lawn Cemetery in Mount Vernon at a later date.
Richard E. Hart was born Oct. 8, 1930, in Hitchcock to Norval and Nell Hart. He was a long time resident of Mount Vernon, moving there from Huron in 1955.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Wanda, of Mount Vernon; a son, Terry (Stacey) Hart; a daughter, Patti Hart; three grandchildren; two sisters, Darlene Bloodgood of Burlington, and Betty Castle of Mitchell; and two sisters-in-law, Helen Larson of Iroquois and Vivian Bruns of Clark.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Clifford Hart.
