MADISON, Minn.— Donald Huber, 75, died on March 14, 2013, at a Sioux Falls Hospital.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. today at the Calvary Baptist Church in Madison, Minn. The Rev. Ed Williamson will officiate. Burial will be at a later date.
Donald Everett Huber was born on Sept. 1, 1937, to parents J. Everett and Alma (Sheldon) Huber in Aberdeen. He attended country school at Ash Consolidated School in Clark County. He graduated from High School in Raymond in 1955. He combined for farmers in the southern states until he joined the Army in 1956 and served until 1960.
He married Nyla Owen on July 2, 1965, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Vienna. He later worked as a trucker in Madison, Minn. He enjoyed having coffee, gardening, Bible Study at Calvary, watching westerns and doing recitations in a country gospel band.
He is survived by his wife, Nyla; children, Darin Huber of Huron, Shari (Todd) Vanderbush of Onalaska, Wis. and Niki (Sheehan) DeSouza of Sioux Falls; brother, Jack (Suzan) Huber of Stillwater, Minn.; brother-in-law Gary Owen of Longmont, Colo.; two nieces, one nephew, and grandchildren.
