Grace May Thompson, 95, of Fedora area, formerly of Omaha, Neb.

FEDORA Grace May Thompson, 95, of Fedora area, formerly of Omaha, Neb., died Monday, July 1, 2013, at the Good Samaritan Society, Howard.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Willoughby Funeral Home, Howard, with burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Artesian. Visitation will be Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the funeral home in Howard.

Grace May Gullickson was born on Sept. 23, 1917, on a farmstead in Miner County to Carl and Eva (Pierpoint) Gullickson. She grew up in the Burbank, Miner County area and attended and graduated from the Burbank High School, southwest of Howard.

She married Roy Thompson on Dec. 15, 1936, at Howard.

She is survived by her sons, Vernon (Naomi) of Omaha, Neb.; Dick (Shirley) of Loon Lake, Wash.; Clifford of Omaha, Neb.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Esther Ischen of Fedora and Dorothy Schneider of West Bend, Wis.; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy, in 1982 ; a son, Roger, in 2007; and two brothers, Lloyd and Robert Gullickson.
