CHANDLER, Ariz. — Lois Early, 96, of Chandler, Ariz., formerly of Huron, died Wed., Oct. 2, 2013, at Horizon Bay-Chandler Assisted Living Facility in Chandler, Ariz. Her body will be cremated. Her graveside service will be at Riverside Cemetery at 3 p.m. today.
Lois H. Tyrrell was born to Phillip and Rose (Feicke) Tyrrell on Nov. 29, 1916, in Beadle Co. She attended rural country school in Beadle County.
She married Fredrick Beck in 1936.
She and her husband owned a general store in Yale for several years. They later moved to Chamberlain and built and operated The Lake Shore Motel.
She married Neil Early in 1981 in Mesa.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Arline Tyrrel of Kimball; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Fred Beck; second husband, Neil Early; son, James Beck, in 2006; step-sons, Neil and Keith Beck; two brothers, Maynard and Earl Tyrrel; and four sisters, Edna Tyrrell, Muriel Peterson, Josephine Gaughran and Marian Weber.
