WATERTOWN — Kimberly Leigh Lantgen, 49, of Watertown, died Thursday, June 26, 2014, at a care center in Watertown.
A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Church in Watertown. The Rev. Paul Rutten will officiate. The family is requested to meet at the church on Tuesday by 9:30 a.m. for a prayer service. Visitation will be at Crawford Funeral Chapel in Watertown on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. and in the church on Tuesday prior to the services. Burial will be in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Watertown.
Kimberly Hendricks was born on Jan. 20, 1965, to Carroll and Karen (Clark) Hendricks in Madison. She graduated from Huron High School in 1983. She attended Dakota State University and graduated from SE Technical School in Sioux Falls with a degree in Computer Technology.
On Feb. 16, 1991, she married Jeff Lantgen in Watertown. She worked at the hospital and then at Watertown High School in the IT Department. She later worked at Kinsman Insurance Agency and Fischer Rounds Insurance.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church where she belonged to the women’s circle. and was a member of the local breast cancer support group.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff, of Watertown; her three daughters, Amber (Jeremy) Geller of Redwood Falls, Minn., Jordan Lantgen and Kendra (Devon) Hible, all of Watertown; three grandchildren; and her in-laws, Kenneth (Barb) Lantgen of Watertown; two brothers, Brad Hendricks of Sioux Falls and Mark (Patsy) Hendricks of Brookings; and a sister-in-law, Stacey (Rueben) Meyer of Watertown.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
