REDFIELD — Arlene Iona Linderman, 89, formerly of Redfield, died July 17, 2014, in Burien, Wash.
Funeral services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Redfield Baptist Church in Redfield. Burial will be in Saint Bernard’s Cemetery in Redfield. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7 with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the Thelen Funeral Home.
Arlene Iona Raymond was born Sept. 22, 1924, to Clarence and Edrie (Cartwright) Raymond on a farm south of Doland. She graduated from high school in Stanberry, Mo., in 1942.
She married Dale “Bill” Hutson in 1942. After they divorced, she later married Miles “Bill” Linderman in 1956. She received a teaching certificate from NSU. She worked for 30 years at the South Dakota Developmental Center in Redfield. She was active in the Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, James (Nancy) Hutson of Tulare, Cecil (Carol) Hutson of Seattle, Wash., Dorothy Wolf of Seattle, Wash. and Marie Ryman of Redfield; stepchildren, Don (Barb) Linderman of Benbrook, Texas, Kenny Linderman of Kamiah, Idaho, Dean (Peggy) Linderman of Myrtle Creek, Ore.; seven grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; brothers, Donald (Ann) Raymond of Stanberry, Mo., Cecil (Naomi) Raymond of Saint Joseph, Mo., Tommy (JoAnn) Raymond of Napoleon, Mo. and a brother-in-law, Bill King, of Bethany, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her husbands; a step-daughter, Eleanor Linderman; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Wanda King; a sister-in-law, Velma Raymond; a brother, Ronald Raymond; and a special, friend, Mike Lutter.
