Tigers end season at second day of State tennis

ESTELLINE -- The James Valley Christian boys' track team edged De Smet for the Region 3B championship on Thursday.

BROOKINGS -- The Huron boys edged Mitchell by a half a point to finish eighth at the Eastern South Dakota Conference Track Meet, which concluded Tuesday in Brookings after being postponed on Saturday.

RAPID CITY -- The Huron Tigers made up some ground during the second and final day of the Class AA State Girls' Golf Tournament on Tuesday.
The Tigers shaved 25 strokes off their opening round score to move up two spots in the final standings for an eighth-place finish.
