Schweigert tosses 700 series

HURON -- Huron High School junior MaKiah Schweigert rolled a 700 series recently in the American Legion Rolls for Scholarships League at Fair City Lanes.
Schweigert, who has been bowling since age 3, had games of 204, 256 and 248 for a 711 series.

Huron gymnasts record season high in finale home meet

HURON -- A strong night on the balance beam propelled the Huron gymnastics team to a season-high total of 132. 600 points during a dual Thursday against Madison at the Tiger Activities Center.
Madison amassed 139.500 points to win the dual, but Huron's performance during its final home meet of the season was quite satisfying for coach Julie King.
