BROOKINGS — After trailing by seven points at the half, James Valley Christian rallied to take a lead at the end of the third quarter, but needed overtime to get past Pipestone (Minn.) during the Swiftel Classic on Friday.
Jaclyn Loban finished with 16 points , 10 rebounds and four assists to lead the Lady Vikings, while Hannah Loban added 10 points.
Kelly Nettik was the lone player to reach double figures for Pipestone with 16 points. She also had a team-high 13 rebounds.
James Valley Christian, which evened its record at 3-3, will face Wolsey-Wessington in a 281 Conference match on Thursday in Wolsey.
