Clark-Willow Lake claims victory against Lake Preston

WILLOW LAKE Clark-Willow Lake led 19-5 after the first quarter en route to a 67-25 victory against Lake Preston on Monday.

Chynna Stevens had 13 points to lead a balanced scoring attack for the Cyclones, who improved to 8-3. Morgan Huber had 10 points, while Mackenzie Huber had nine points and Janelle Paulson and Savannah Hovde each had eight points.

Clark-Willow Lake had 31 rebounds, compared to 12 for Lake Preston.

Breanna Paul and Kristen Longville each had five points for the Lady Divers.

WOLSEY Corsica-Stickney led 24-4 at the half during a 47-19 victory against Wolsey-Wessington on Saturday.

Hope Menning had 15 points to lead Corsica-Stickney, while Micayla Bamberg added 13 points.

Meagan Eggleston and Bailey Zerfoss had six and five points, respectively, for the Lady Warbirds.

Brittany Bergquist had a team-high seven rebounds for Wolsey-Wessington, while Eggleston had two assists.

The Lady Warbirds, who are now 3-9, will host Sunshine Bible Academy today.
