HURON — James Valley Christian, which moved to No. 2 in the Class B rankings this week, recorded a 73-29 victory against Highmore-Harrold in a 281 Conference matchup on Tuesday.
After staking a 29-14 lead at the half, the Vikings outscored Highmore-Harrold 30-5 in the third quarter.
Adam Hofer scored 17 of his game-high 32 points for JVC in the third quarter. Alex Waldner also reached double figures with 15 points, including a trio of 3-pointers, while Nathan Wedel and Leon Brondsema each added eight points.
Wedel grabbed seven rebounds for the Vikings, who improved to 11-0, while Hofer had a team-high eight steals. Donnie Decker and Waldner each had four assists.
Hadley Hamlin and Hayden Houdek led Highmore-Harrold with 11 and 10 points, respectively.
Both teams return to action Friday. JVC hosts Sully Buttes, while Highmore-Harrold hosts Iroquois.
