HURON ó Teams are being sought for the Menís Expo Paintball Tournament on Saturday, May 11, at the South Dakota State Fairgrounds in Huron.
The National Guard has teamed up with the event to host the tournament. Teams will consist of three people and will draw to see what team they will play. The competition will actually start prior to the official opening of the Menís Expo, running from 10 a.m. Ė 1 p.m.
The first place team will take home $150. Second and third place teams will take home winnings, too. Pre-registration is strongly advised as only eight teams are being accepted; forms can be found online at www.sdstatefair.com/mensexpo
Entry into the tournament is included in the Menís Expo event ticket. Several ticket options are available: Menís Expo ticket only, combination ticket that includes Menís Expo and 3X Live Pro Wrestling featuring Hacksaw Jim Duggan, 3X Live Pro Wrestling ticket only, and ringside VIP tickets that include admission into the Menís Expo.
Tickets are sponsored by Anytime Fitness and are available to purchase at the Anytime Fitness location in Huron, as well as at the SD State Fair Office on 3rd St. and Nevada Ave.
Participants are not allowed to bring their own paintball guns and paintballs. The event will supply the equipment.
Other events planned for the Menís Expo are bean bag tournament, dart tournament, name that tune trivia, tattoo trivia, mechanical bull riding competition and arm wrestling competition. Over $1,000 in cash prizes are up for grabs.
