HURON — Seven area football teams have reached the postseason.
All classes with the exception of Class 11AAA and Class 11AA will begin postseason play on Tuesday.
Wolsey-Wessington, Clark-Willow Lake and Redfield-Doland will have home games to open the playoffs on Tuesday.
Wolsey-Wessington, which is one of three unbeatean teams at 8-0 in Class 9A will host Colome (6-2) on Tuesday in Wolsey.
Clark-Willow Lake (7-1) will host Deubrook Area (7-1) on Tuesday in Clark to open the Class 9AA playoffs, while Redfield-Doland (6-2) will host Mobridge-Pollock (3-5) in the opening round in Class 11B in Redfield on Tuesday.
In other games Tuesday, Woonsocket-Wessington Springs-Sanborn Central (5-3) will travel to play Kimball-White Lake (6-2) in Class 9AA; De Smet-Iroquois (3-5) will travel to play Hill City (7-1) in Class 9AA; and Hitchcock-Tulare (6-2) will be at Eureka-Bowdle (6-2) in Class 9B.
The Huron Tigers, who went 3-5 this season to earn the fifth seed in Class 11AA, will travel to play fourth-seeded Harrisburg (3-5) in the opening round at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
Huron defeated Harrisburg 20-13 in Harrisburg during the third week of the season.
