Get ready for the second annual Butterfly Ball! The Butterfly Ball, planned from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, April 14, at the Huron Event Center Ballroom, is a semi-formal father/daughter prom-style ball for girls ages 3 through 12-plus.

Because everyone knows how much little girls love to dress up and spend time with their dad, the school decided to make this special opportunity happen in Huron. All fathers and daughters ages 3 through 12-plus are invited to attend.

The Butterfly Ball includes music, dancing, snacks, photo opportunities and a mini grand march for the father/daughters.

The mini grand march will begin shortly after 2 p.m., and the father/daughters will be introduced by Jeff Duffy.  The mini grand march will be open to the public for photo opportunities.

Taunya and Shawn Martin from Performance Radio will be putting the music together for the event — this should be a great opportunity for the girls to show their dads how to dance!

Bob Landstrom from Landstrom Photography will be at the Butterfly Ball to take professional photos by request, as well as to photograph the mini grand march.

Tickets for the Butterfly Ball may be purchased at Holy Trinity Catholic School or Church offices, or at the door at the event. Due to the popularity of the event last year, purchasing tickets in advance is recommended. For more information, please contact Rose Kluth (rose.kluth@k12.sd.us) or Taunya Martin (taunya.martin@northwestern.com).
