The Jungle Afterschool Program at M & M Day Care has organized The Jungle Community Service Club, which recently put Valentine bags together to give to women at the Jan Manolis Family Violence Center and to the residents of an apartment complex for the elderly. The bags contain several kinds of nail polish and supplies. The children wanted to brighten the day for the women, and felt “if you look pretty you will then feel pretty.” The Jungle Community Service Club will have four projects during the school year. Organizing supplies are, front row, from left, Tamika Perez, Alex Erickson, Ireland Hennrich, Bjorn Howard, Kailee Cribben and Elly Gascoigne; and in back, Cole Wilson, Ericka Cribben and Anyka Perez.
