Thelma Parker, 69, of Armour died Friday, July 23, 2010, at the Golden Living Center.

Her funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church in Huron with the Rev. Kevin Channell officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery. Thelma Thompson was born March 26, 1941, at Miller to William and Irene (King) Thompson. She attended Hand County rural schools.

On Dec. 28, 1963, she married Burton Parker at Pipestone, Minn. They lived in Huron. He died Jan. 23, 2006. She moved to Rapid City and entered the Golden Living Center July 13. She collected ceramic chickens and enjoyed taking care of children.

She is survived by a daughter, Carla Satterlee of Rapid City; three grandchildren; four sisters, Reva Gross of Fond Du Lac, Wis., Berniece Wahlert of Huron, Norma (Edwin) Yost of Miller and Patti Keckler of Eagle Butte; two brothers-in-law, William Reimer and Lawrence Bonebrake; and two sisters-in-law, Esther Thompson and Geneva Spelbring.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sisters, Verna Reimer, Juletta Bonebrake and Bessie Reimer; three brothers, Dick, Lester and Russell; four brothers-in-law, Ted Reimer, Jack Keckler, Keith Wahlert and Art Gross; her parents-in-law, Ora and Sylvia Parker; and a sister-in-law, Diane Thompson.
