Jesse Blue waits to be “bailed out” of the city jail. The city jail was used as a fundraiser for a new walking/biking path. Sports Day was celebrated July 16-18 in Iroquois.

Parade winners were: I.T.C., first place; Class of 1980, second place; and Redstone Valley 4-H Club, third place.

Blue’s Country Foods was recognized as the business of the year and Kathleen Biever was recognized as volunteer of the year.

Activities also included an air band concert, bed races and a bail and jail fundraiser.
