Melvina Sporrer, 85, of Pierre and formerly of Highmore

PIERRE — Melvina Sporrer, 85, of Pierre and formerly of Highmore, died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012, at St. Mary’s Healthcare Center in Pierre.

Her funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Highmore. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday with a 7 p.m. prayer service, all at the church.
