COLLINGSWOOD, N.J. — Gary Roger Wahl, 74, died Friday, Sept. 7, 2012.

Gary Roger Wahl was born Feb. 2, 1938, to Pauline and Chris Wahl at Wessington Springs. He attended high school in Huron and Wessington Springs, graduating in 1956. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in education from Northern State University in Aberdeen in 1960 and a master’s of education from the University of Guam, Mangilao, Guam, in 1971. He taught math and coached at Chamberlain High School until 1964. From 1964 to 1991 he taught and worked in administration for the Guam Public Schools and Guam Community College. From 1993 until 2006 he provided technology support through the Minister of Education for the Republic of Palau Public Schools. He moved to Collingswood, N.J., in 2006.
He is survived by his wife, Naomi Sanderson; three children, Roger (Cheryl) of Mangilao, Leigh (Bruce) Brenner of Stuart, Fla., and Charles (Bridget) of Collingswood; and nine grandchildren.
