ST. LAWRENCE — Ollie Alumbaugh, 84, of St. Lawrence, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, at Highmore Health.
Her funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Lawrence Community Church with the Rev. Scot Tutt officiating. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. prayer service at Reck Funeral Home in Miller, familyfuneralhome.net.
Ollie Pearl Dalton was born July 3, 1928, to Frances and Hattie (Prather) Dalton at Holabird. She attended Highmore High School.
On Aug. 31, 1947, she married Kenneth Alumbaugh at Highmore. She worked at the Methodist Church cleaning, then became a cook at the St. Lawrence and Miller schools.
She enjoyed gardening, fishing and camping. She was a lifetime member of St. Lawrence Community Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
She is survived by three sons, Kenneth (Annette Wilson), Jerry (Francie Russell), and Phillip (DeAnna DeWald); six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; five brothers, Floyd, Hilbert, Harley, Louie, and Howard; and three sisters, Myrtle, Beulah and Alla.
