Huron Farmers Market will feature fall produce such as beets, melons, squash of all varieties, tomatoes, peppers, herbs, onions, baked goods, jams and jellies, and possibly some farm fresh eggs.
The market is open from 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays in the former Extension building parking lot, located on the corner of Third Street and Lincoln Avenue Southwest.
The Tuesday night markets have ended for the 2012 season, but the Saturday morning market will continue through Oct. 13, which will be the last market this year.
Farmers Market Harvest Fest planned Oct. 13
The group is also busy preparing for the Farmers Market Harvest Fest, planned Oct. 13. The event will feature interesting presentations, demonstrations, music and lots more.
