Relay For Life of Beadle County is looking for new committee members to help plan the 2013 Relay For Life.
They are looking for people to fill multiple roles to help fight back against cancer, ranging from recruiting other volunteers to helping plan the logistics of the event.
The Relay For Life is the signature event for the American Cancer Society and is the most successful event put on by a non-profit organization in the nation. Relay gives those people that have survived or that have loved ones who have survived cancer the opportunity to celebrate; it allows those people that have lost someone to cancer remember their loss; it gives everyone the opportunity to fight back against cancer.
Committee members are on a volunteer basis and are recognized and rewarded for their efforts in multiple ways. Along with that, Relay is a nationally recognized event; it creates networking opportunities across the country; it looks great on a resume, and the self-reward of knowing that you have helped a great cause is excellent, too.
If you would like more information or are interested in volunteering for the Relay For Life of Beadle County, please contact Josh Ring, Community Relations, American Cancer Society, at Josh.firstname.lastname@example.org or 605-323-3557.
