HURON — Clark D. Risetter, 55, of Huron, died Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at Huron Regional Medical Center.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Kuhler Funeral Home with Capt. Eric Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Wolsey Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Kuhler Funeral Home, kuhlerfuneralhome.com.
Clark Dixon Risetter was born Aug. 8, 1957, at Huron to Ordean and Blanche (Carney) Risetter. He graduated from Wolsey High School in 1975.
He helped his parents on the farm and began working in road construction during the summers while in high school and continued until 1989 when he quit due to ill health. He married Lorry Lentz. He enjoyed gardening, collecting road construction toys and driving. He babysat for his nephew.
He is survived by his wife; his mother-in-law, Francella Lentz of Huron; three brothers-in-law, Terry Lentz of Parkston, Kevin Lentz of Huron and Charles (Penny) Lentz of Huron; two sisters-in-law, Cheryl Lentz of Huron and LaRae (Robert) Moreno of Brookings; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Clinton and Kenneth; and a sister, Jeanette.
