MARSHALL, Mo. — Kenneth “John” Hanson, 65, died Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at Kansas City, Mo.
A memorial service will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Marshall with William Harlow officiating.
Kenneth Hanson was born Oct. 9, 1947, at Mitchell to Kenneth and Rosemary (Fitzgerald) Hanson. He married Michelle Haggar in 1976 at Huron.
He moved to Marshall in 1977. He owned and operated Marshall Glass Service until 1982 and Fingland Glass in Marshall. He also worked for the municipal utilities for a number of years. He loved wrestling and coached for more than 15 years for the Indian Foothills Youth Wrestling Club. He was also an avid fisherman and hunter.
He is survived by three sons, Brian of Kansas City, Mo., Patrick (Kristen) of Columbia, Mo., and Robby of Marshall, Mo.; two sisters, Cheri (Ben) Beck of Colorado City, Colo., and Joan (Tom) Weber of Chippewa Falls, Wis.; a brother, David of Cumberland, Wis.; and three grandchildren.For the complete article see the 11-01-2012 issue.
