Fall film series to begin this weekend

Posted: Saturday, Nov 10th, 2012

HURON — The popular fall Children’s Movie Series presented by the Friends of the Library begins this weekend with the movie “Brave.”

The weekly film series features six popular movies rated PG or G and are appropriate for children of all ages, even very old ones. Just because it has always been called the Children’s Movie Series, doesn’t mean only children may attend. Boys and girls of all ages, teens, adults and whole families are invited to take part in this fall tradition at Huron Luxury Cinemas.

Each movie will be shown five times over two days, with show times on Saturdays at 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m.; and showings on Sundays starting at noon and 1 p.m. The discount tickets for all six movies are on sale now through Nov. 25 at the theater. Individual tickets for each movie will also be available at the door at matinee prices.

The other movies in the series are “Ice Age Continental Drift,” “Diary of a Wimpy Kid Dog Days,” “Madagascar 3,” “Alvin and the Chipmunks Chipwrecked” and “The Three Stooges.”
