Wolsey-Wessington School will host a Veterans Day program at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12 in the new school gymnasium.
This year’s speaker will be Wessington Springs native 1st Lieutenant Chris Schimke.
Schimke resides in Huron and is a member of the
153 Engineering Battalion in Huron.
He is a former high school teacher and is currently working for Farm Credit Services of America.
Wessington native, Marvin Palmer will be recognized with a high school diploma. Palmer has earned his diploma through his military service.
All are welcome to attend.
