Nadine Zarneke, 92, of Redfield, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at Community Memorial Hospital in Redfield.
A memorial service will be Thursday at 10: 30 a.m. at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Redfield with the Rev. Christopher Hughes officiating. Cremains burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visit thelenfuneralhome.com.
Nadine Finnerty was born Jan. 14, 1920, at Redfield to James and Leilia (Justice) Finnerty. She graduated from Redfield High School.
She married Ralph Zarneke Jan. 13, 1939, at Miller. She worked for Northwestern Public Service and South Dakota Developmental Center-Redfield. They traveled to California several times to visit family. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and enjoyed playing bridge and golfing.
She is survived by three sons, Terry of Placerville, Calif., Dick of Mounds View, Minn., and Tom of Rescue, Calif.; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1997; three sisters, Gladys Robbins, Sarah Noonan and Lucile Gilmartin; and a brother, Lawrence Finnerty.For the complete article see the 11-13-2012 issue.
