MOHAVE VALLEY, Ariz. — Ray M. Huckins, 77, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at Fort Mohave, Ariz.
A scripture service was held Nov. 13 at Desert Lawn Funeral Home in Mohave Valley with military honors. A memorial service will be held in Huron at a later date.
Ray M. Huckins was born April 10, 1935, at Blunt to Ralph and Dollie (Peck) Huckins. He married Marylyn Wagner June 10, 1961, at La Puente, Calif. They spent their summers in Huron.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Kevin (Mary) of Winterhaven, Fla., and Todd (Pam) of Bellflower, Calif.; a daughter-in-law, Valerie of West Covina, Calif.; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Pauline (Edgar) Hinderer of East Wenatchee, Wash.; and two brothers, Leslie (Ida) Curtis of Rock Falls, Ill., and Wayne Curtis of Huron.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jeff; a brother, Ralph Huckins; and a sister, Lily Belle Paye.
