Students at the Buchanan Kindergarten Center and special guest Superintendent Terry Nebelsick shared a Thanksgiving feast Tuesday in the school gym. Principal Peggy Hines said this was the largest feast ever, with 205 students. She asked the students to share what they were thankful for with their neighbors. Every child brought a piece of fruit to share with the group, which staff and volunteers cut up. Also on the menu was butter, made by the students, spread on saltine crackers, popcorn and milk. For the complete article see the 11-21-2012 issue.
