Salvation Army continues Christmas Basket program

HURON — The 64th annual Salvation Army Christmas Basket Food Program will continue its musical entertainment through Thursday.

Each program begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Huron High School Auditorium, and the public is invited to stop by and watch it live. The program can also be heard live on Huron radio station KOKK, 1210 AM, and watched live on Huron Tiger Network (Midcontinent Cable Channel 6) or on the web at www.christ-masbasket.us.

The Salvation Army Christmas Basket schedule tonight and Thursday includes:

Tonight:

• Wolsey Community Chorus

• First Presbyterian Church Choir

• James River Bluegrass Band

• Riverview & First United Methodist Church Choirs

• Firm Foundation Praise Team

Thursday:

• Huron Middle School seventh and eighth grade bands

• Holy Trinity’s Choir of Angels

• The Noteworthy Strings

• Mount Olivet Church group

• James Valley Christian School Band

Money raised through phone and online pledges will be used for Christmas food baskets and food programs throughout the year for families in Huron and the surrounding area.
