The Iroquois Drama Club will present ďA Candy Kane Christmas,Ē a comedy written by Darby Chism and Karen Davenport, on Friday at 7 p.m. in the schoolís south gymnasium.
It is a family comedy about Candy Kane, a not-so-happy teen who is convinced that all her troubles would be over if she could just change her unusual name. In a series of comical mishaps, Candy discovers that reinventing herself is much harder than she ever imagined as she also finds the true meaning of Christmas.
Cast members include Amber Jacobs, Zach Maznio, Erin Rusher, Shayla Simons, Josh Keating, Kelsey Blue, Sierra Crater, Nola LaMont, Kassidy Maznio, Erik Wehlander and Allison Bich. Hannah Wehlander will help prompt. Karen Bohlander is the director.
There will be a small admission fee for the play, with a freewill donation for the Christmas goodies that will be provided. A bake sale will also be held.
All proceeds will help sponsor the Community Angel Tree.
