HURON — A snow alert remains in effect in the city until snow removal has been completed.
The snow emergency was declared as of 12:01 a.m. Monday.
No parking is allowed in the core area downtown from midnight to 8 a.m. until the streets are cleared curb to curb.
Snow emergency routes must be free of parked vehicles until they are cleared.
No parking is allowed on east-west streets on even-numbered days and north-south streets on odd-numbered days until they are cleared.
Violators are subject to a $35 fine plus towing and storage costs if their vehicle is removed.
