Curves is hosting a “Christmas Crayons for Kids“ donation drive to help public school teachers of kindergarten through second-grade students with much needed supplies they often have to buy themselves for their students.
The community is invited to help supply these teachers with new supplies when they return from their Christmas break.
The supplies will be delivered to the office at the schools so any of the teachers that need them can just stop in the office to get what they need.
As part of the promotion, Curves will waive the sign-up fee for anyone who wants to join who donates $25 worth of school supplies from now until the first of the year.
School supplies can be dropped off at Curves at the Huron Mall or call 352-0900 to have someone pick them up.
Supplies needed include 24-count boxes of crayons, washable markers, No. 2 wood pencils, big erasers, colored pencils, Elmers glue (not school glue), purple glue sticks, scissors, hand sanitizer, tissues, single-spiral notebooks and black dry erase markers.
