Francis “Frank” Earl Muth, 70, of Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Francis “Frank” Earl Muth, 70, of Colorado Springs, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at Pikes Peak Hospice in Colorado Springs.

His body has been donated to Science Care for research. There will be a private family memorial at a later date.

Francis Earl Muth was born to Martin and Darlene (Thompson) Muth Nov. 14, 1942, at Mitchell. He graduated from Huron High School. He joined the Navy and worked as an in-flight radio operator. After his discharge he became an FAA air traffic controller in Montana and Colorado. He earned his Realtor license in Colorado. He enjoyed fishing, camping and playing the guitar.

He is survived by a son, William of Steamboat Springs, Colo.; three daughters, Monique Macchia of Steamboat Springs, Erika Petitjean of Strasburg, Colo., and Jessica Hulstrom of Brighton, Colo.; his father of Wolsey; a brother, Ronald (Connie) of Wolsey; two sisters, Linda (Ron) Schaible of Lead and Theresa (Dave) Nelson of Fort Worth, Texas; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother and his grandparents.
