Margaret Zoss, 102, of Letcher

LETCHER — Margaret Zoss, 102, died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital in Mitchell.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Forestburg Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Butler Cemetery, rural Letcher. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Bittner Funeral Chapel in Mitchell.

Margaret Mae Lee was born Oct. 3, 1910, near Cambridge, Iowa, to Jacob and Edith (Maxwell) Lee.

She is survived by three sons, Adolf (Dotty) of Letcher, and Frederick (Cathy) and Benjamin (Helen), all of Forestburg; two daughters, Rebecca (Louis) Hein of Artesian and Goldie (Bob) Burnham of Sioux Falls; a sister, Iris McDonough of Salem, Ore.; 16 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolf, in 1989; three sisters, Alice, Goldie and Helen; and three brothers, Jimmy, John and Philip.
