MITCHELL — A pair of area girls’ basketball teams posted victories on Saturday during the Hanson Classic, which was played at the Corn Palace in Mitchell.
Clark-Willow Lake ouscored Parkston 11-4 in the third quarter en route to a 52-43 victory.
De Smet scored 19 points in the fourth quarter to rally for a 42-33 victory against Highmore-Harrold.
The game between Sanborn Central-Woonsocket and Warner was cancelled.
