No. 1-ranked Cyclones rout Great Plains Lutheran

WILLOW LAKE Top-ranked Clark-Willow Lake cruised to an 83-45 victory against Great Plains Lutheran on Monday.

Skyler Flatten had a game-high 21 points for the Cyclones, while Mitch Prouty and Torrey Kolden each had 16 points.

Kolden also had team-high totals with five rebounds and four assists. Flatten had five of the 24 steals in the game for Clark-Willow Lake.

Phil Bunkowske led Great Plains Lutheran with 14 points and four assists. Zach Peterson had 10 points, while Nick Moffenbier had seven rebounds and three steals.

WESSINGTON SPRINGS Ephram Albrect had 16 points to lead three players in double figures, as Redfield-Doland defeated Wessington Springs 54-32 on Saturday.

Also reaching double figures for the Pheasants were Landon Rohlfs with 14 points and Daniel Evans with 10 points.

Braden Jones and Deion Sails each finished with 11 points for the Spartans (2-9). Jones also grabbed a team-high seven rebounds.

Connor Spindler had a game-high 17 points for Webster Area.

Ephram Albrect led the Pheasants, who are now 2-5, with a game-high 26 points. Kyle Stover had 12 points, while Jake Baloun and Daniel Evans each had six points.

Brian Sumption finished with 18 points to lead Leola-Frederick. Derrick Podoll also reached double figures with 11 points.

Mason Leiseth had 15 points to lead three players in double figures for the Chargers. Austin Niemann and EJ Drake finished with 11 and 10 points, respectively, while Dustin Quiram and Dylan Reuer each had seven points.

Leiseth had 10 rebounds for Hamlin and Drake had a team-high six assists.

Austin Janssen had 14 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Bulldogs. Brad Penney had four assists.
