ORIENT — Otho S. Eaton, 90, died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013 in Orient.
Mass will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas Clement presiding. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday at the church.
Otho S. Eaton was born Aug. 14, 1922, in Hand County to Orville and Josephine (Mueller) Eaton. He served in the Air Force during WWII.
He married Dolores Baloun on Aug. 24, 1948.
He is survived by his wife Dolores; his children: Anita Selting, Huron, Nancy (Mike) Gulbrandson, Brandon, Debra (John) Lantz, Grand Island, Neb., Paul (Sandra) Eaton, Aberdeen, Lynette (Paul) Meyer, Grand Island, Jodene (Donald) Clement, Orient, and Russel (Charlene) Eaton, Summerset; 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; two great-great- grandchildren; three sisters: Maxine (Lloyd) Oleson, Mitchell, Mary (Richard) Kelly, Young America, Minn. and Janet Eaton, Hopkins, Minn.; two brothers: Ted (Wanda) Eaton, Sun City West, Ariz. and Dick (Evie) Eaton, Lewiston, Idaho.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Danny; granddaughter, Christina Clement; sister, Colleen and sister, Virginia Strasburg; two brothers: Gordon and Kevin Eaton and one sister-in-law, Annie Eaton.
